The plugin does not work with WordPress 5.7 and PHP 7.4

    First I thought that a script was blocked by my ad-blocker, but it turns out that it is plugin’s fault. The “Upload By URL” button in the Media Library page does not do anything. I tested it on two browsers. Works with WooCommerce Product editor.

    I will be happy to update my review once the issue is fixed.

    The plugin uses WordPress’ native functions so would you mind emailing me or dropping the URL to the images you tried to add or exactly what you did that isn’t working?

    There’s a few conflicts noted in the plugins’ readme section about what type of URLs are allowed and I’m sure you can’t be the only one experiencing this problem.

    I definitely do apologize for the inconvenience this plugin may have caused you, but before you jump to conclusions with a 1-star review, why don’t you and I resolve this together so that we can help other people instead of deferring them from something that has worked for so many others including myself? The plugin is free but it does come with support… and I am quite active in helping others get their desired results.. so don’t hesitate to ask for help on the community forums ??

    Hi @notetoservices, thanks for your response and I am sorry I could not respond earlier.
    Let me explain the issue:
    The “Add by URL” button in Media Library simply does not do anything – no popup is opened. The plugin works if I add images with WooCommerce Product editor.
    I will update my review right now because the plugin works under some circumstances.

    There is definitely a noted conflict in the readme.txt with WooCommerce, though its usually the opposite, whereas there are issues with WooCommerce enabled. I am wondering if you have anything else installed that is affecting the media library page. I can do some debugging if you’re up for it, but I’d have to know what you’ve got installed.
