• Hello,

I have setup a new user notification to replace the default one, and checked the box for “Disable new user email to admin”. However, the default wordpress new user emails gets sent anyway. So when my custom notification is toggled ON, I get both it and the default notification. When it’s toggled OFF, I only get the default notification.

An additional note. I am using Gravity Forms User Registration Add-on on the front end, so I thought perhaps it was not respecting the setting from your plugin. However, I created a user manually on the back end, and the same issue happens.

Also, if this matters, outgoing emails are handled by Offload SES.

Any idea why that would happen?

    Thanks

    Hi James,

looks like this might be indeed a plugin conflict? Could you please deactivate any plugin that may send this default notification and try again?

Same issue here, still receiving both WordPress and your Notification email for ‘Welcome email – user registration’ (even with all default wordpress emails checked in integration settings).
I’m using ‘Contact form 7’ + ‘Frontend Registration – Contact Form 7’ to create the registration form. So these are the only 2 plugins I can’t disable to test.
Is there a way to know if this is the issue? Or do you have a better suggestion as far as how to create a user registration form without using these plugins (if they are the issue…)
    Thanks in advance!

That’s a good hint, thank you Magalie! Going to test this today and see if these plugins are creating the issue

    Same issue here.

This is precisely the ONLY reason we want to use this plugin, ha. I’m shocked there’s not a better way to do this by now what with thousands of site admins who do not want to get all the business notifications their customers get.

And, sure, the plugin works when all other plugins are off, but if I didn’t need other plugins, i wouldn’t need this one. Gravity Forms and Contact Form 7 are hugely popular………

We checked the Frontend Registration – Contact Form 7 plugin and unfortunately, we won’t be able to integrate with it. They hardcoded the email in their codebase and there’s no way to remove it.

We are going to check the Gravity Forms add-on.
