    Hi there,

I have an issue with your plugin. Mailpoet stopped sending post notifications to my subscribers on March 19. I guess there was a plugin update that caused this issue on the task scheduler.

The connection on the system status bar shows “successful”, but the tab of the scheduled tasks shows “sending”.

Please let me know how I can fix this.

    Thank you!

  • Hi!

Could you let us know what’s your sending method?

I have always been sending emails through my host, which is Siteground, and it worked properly.

I have also rechecked the configurations, and the test message works fine.

Please let me know if there is any other solution than choosing the MailPoet sending service as this method won’t work for me.

    Thank you!

    Sure! Thanks for confirming.

I’ve taken a look at your MailPoet account but I can’t see any blocker from our end – the account is active and if you’re able to send a test that means that the license is applied properly.

Still, it would be great if you can double-check that the license applied in MailPoet -> Settings -> key Activation matches with the one in your MailPoet account and how many subscribers you’re sending to. If you have more subscribers than your current plan’s limit, that might be the reason why you can’t send anymore.

If none of the above applies, you’d need to reach Siteground support so they can check if there’s any error or something going on from their site.

Here you can find further information about paused sending when using SMTP:

I have double-checked all the settings, including the license. Everything seems fine. I have also discussed the issue with my server provider, and they have confirmed there is no issue on their side.

Then I have switched to the MailPoet Sending Service, and unfortunately, it didn’t help.

I have less than 1000 subscribers, so this is not the reason too. I am ready to switch to Premium, it’s not a problem, but this is not a good practice if accounts with less than 1000 subscribers are made to switch to Premium to send their newsletters.

If honest, I already consider using another newsletter service.

    Please advise.

UPDATE: the plugin started working after I have duplicated my existing automated newsletters, activated them and deleted the old ones.

I hope this can help others to resolve similar issues on their websites.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi there @lilydiamond,

Thanks for sharing the solution that worked for you! We appreciate it a lot!

Enjoy the rest of your day and stay safe!
