All CF7 Forms Stopped Working

  • All of my CF7 Forms have stopped working since changing hosts, but also following several updates as well.

    Running: WordPress 5.7 and CF7 v5.4
    Theme: https://themeforest.net/item/nanosoft-wp-theme-for-it-solutions-and-services-company/22064051
    LiteSpeed Cache v3.6.4 and Quic.Cloud CDN Enabled

    I have now installed EASY WP SMTP v1.4.6 to see if this would resolve the issue, but still getting the same issue – no validation and no submissions.

    I’ve identified the issue. After setting the site into troubleshoot mode and disabling EVERY plugin and then enabling them 1 by 1, I left one till the very end: LiteSpeed Cache plugin

    So I need to look at the settings which are breaking my site – not great, considering LiteSpeed is supposed to help with worpdress

    Please see this thread. Some of us were in there discussing it yesterday and our posts from yesterday have all been deleted and the topic has now been closed to new comments. I have figured out in my case the submit button is only broken if recaptcha is active. I have also figured out that if I switch to a vanilla default wordpress theme, the submit button starts to work again. Also, reverting CF7 back to 5.3.2 fixes it for me. If you read the realease notice for CF7 5.4, they rewrote the “submit” code. But since it works with default themes, we may be SOL.

    @sheff thanks for the heads up. With recaptcha on, I don’t have issues. however, as I did identify it’s a Litespeed issue

    @pidengmor thanks again for that link – I’ll give it a go, but I think it has something to do with deferring JS, but I am going through each of my settings to see which one breaks it ??
