Hide specific menu item

  • My intent is to hide a specific menu item from visitors (non logged users). Up till some time ago, this worked fine. After a recent update, the menu is visible for visitors although marked as hidden for them. Any help please?

    to be more precise in my question: Only menu items which are links to categories are not being hidden, items in the menu such as links to custom URL are being hidden!
