Header Media

  • When inputting YouTube URL, the header media (hero) dimensions increase to displays the entire video along with a play/pause button instead of containing it, if that makes sense. This changed when WordPress after updating WordPress to 5.7. Any suggestions?

    Also, once contained, I am having trouble increasing the height of this section – the default shows a very small strip of the video.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Adding the YouTube video to the Header Media works just like you described it.
    It implements the video, sets the autoplay and displays the Pause and Play button.

    Unfortunately, there are no options to modify this behavior.

    We can try adjusting the section with some CSS, but you would have to add the video (I don’t see it on the website now). Once you do, let me know so I can take another look.
