I’m hoping someone will have a solution for me as I’m so close to get what I’m trying to accomplish I just need help with the last piece.

What I’m trying to accomplish is to have a unique Google Map display in the sidebar of each post. Basically showing the location of that particular story.

I’m using two plug-ins; WP Geo and Custom Field Widget.

I have successfully created the Google map with WP Geo, and for testing purposes displayed it at the bottom of my post. Likewise I have used Custom Field Widget to create a sidebar widget with a custom field. (I named the Key value side_where).

Where I’m stuck is how do I get the map from WP Geo to display in Custom Field Widget?

You can see the example I’m referring to here.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, with a little more digging I realized that the solution was in front of my face…had been all along. Silly me.

I am interested in using my blog posts as a business directory with a location map below the posted title and info. Care to point me in the correct direction other than using WP Geo and a custom field widget?
    Thanks in advance.
