When I try to login to my admin I keep receiving this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: require_wp_db() in /home/.sputter/mistikal/misticalblade.com/wp-settings.php on line 269

Does anyone know how how I can fix this? There haven’t been any problems on my site until today. I do not know what needs to be fixed.

    Hi there!

I’ve heard of this problem happening before to some people (but on older installs).

I think what might be happening is that you might have a plugin corrupting your .htaccess file.

Does clearing out your .htaccess file (save a backup copy of your settings if you made any specific .htaccess settings) help you regain access to your Admin panel?

Or, does removing your most recently added plugin(s) help?

EDIT: Also, check to see if you might be running low on server web space.

Thanks for the response. I have just tried clearing the .htaccess file but it doesn’t seem to help. I have also renamed my plugins folder to disable any plugins that are running. I am also not low on webspace. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a few hours now.

    Hi again,

I am personally at a loss as to what exactly the error is, though it seems like it might be a configuration or settings error. Hopefully, someone else with more experience on troubleshooting these issues will be able to offer more viable solutions.

Does uploading a fresh copy of the wp-config.php file help any by any chance?

Can you copy and paste what is on line 269 in the wp-settings.php?

In addition to disabling your plugins, try removing your theme. It’s possible that your theme is being a bad apple.
