Permanently delete events older than:

    I would like to clean up my XML site map by deleting past events.

    To do this, I am going to the plugin dashboard and selecting “General Settings” -> “Permanently delete events older than:” and selecting my option.

    But, whenever I select an option, let’s say 6 months, my request times out and I get a 502 error. After doing this I still do not see those changes reflected on the site.

    I do have a large number of events, so does this process take a while or should I see those events removed immediately?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Could you try to deactivate all 3rd party plugins (except The Events Calendar) and switch to the default theme (e.g. Twenty Twenty)? Does it help?
