    Hello,
I use the free Polylang translation plugin and this is good working with other plugins.
But here with these “GDPR CCPA Compliance Support” plugin, it seems that the provided .po and .mo translation files are not used or not loaded the good way.
Because, when I choose an other language, the Cookie banner is not translated. It stays in English. I have installed the Dutch and French languages but not other languages are used to translate the Cookie banner.
Can someone help me? Or I’m missing something? Because with other plugins it’s working.
Sorry, I’m testing on localhost, so I can’t share any online URL.
Thanks in advance for any hints or suggestions.

    Hi @alainmelsens ,

Thanks for using GDPR plugin, please note that if you select a specific language in your translation plugin, then you need to edit and type the cookie bar texts in that language and save it. Click another language and do the same.

Thats how to get this done because selecting a specific language will not auto translate the cookie bar.

    I hope that helps?

    Kind regards,

    Hi Bruce,
    Thanks for your fast answer.
Alright, I have discovered where I need to edit and save the texts for the cookie bar for the different languages. I didn’t saw first that there where little pencils on the cookie bar example.
So, now I can edit and save the edited texts. I have 3 languages that I use. I use English, Dutch and French. But it works only for the Dutch version. For the French version, it takes the translation of the Dutch version. And for the English version, it takes the translation of the French verson. It seems to mixed up. Why? I have tried many times, but it seems not to hold the right versions of languages.
Must I reset something before to use the translated texts?
Even when I want to edit some languages after I have saved previous translations, then, when I choose a lauguage in Polylang, the loaded translations are not correct. I mean in the admin pages. The loaded translations are not saved with the right languages before, I guess. Sometimes there are the same translated texts for other languages.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
    Kind Regards.

This is regrettable. After almost a month still no further support.
But no problem, I already found a much better alternative that is very compatible with Polylang.
