    Hi!

The plugin was installed by a freelancer to create Custom Post Types and Taxonomies on my site. I trust that it’s great!

Now that those are created and everything works well, I would like to deinstall the plugin so that it doesn’t unnecessarily drag my website’s performance down. To be clear, it is very important to me that the CPTs and CTs stay.

Can I safely remove it and expect everything else to stay in place? Otherwise, is there a solution to mitigate the weight of the plugin on performance?

    Thank you!

    Hi @ntel

If you remove Pods then the CPT’s and CT’s won’t be registered anymore.
You can of course register them by code yourself.
However, any custom fields and/or templates etc. require Pods to be active.

    Cheers, Jory
