    Hi @lamedufaitmain

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

I recommend reaching out to LearnPress support as they maintain the LearnPress integration for Paid Memberships Pro and this functionality isn’t included in Paid Memberships Pro core (www.remarpro.com version).

    Thank you for understanding.

    Hi @andrewza

I alredy asked about that to support Learnpress. But they answer me that it is a problem with PMP and no Learnpress… And the support of my theme WP (Edubin) said ma that the probleme doesn’t come from the theme.

I feel like neither Learnpress nor Paid Membership Pro really wants to help me. So I see the videos to install this plugins, I upgrade them or change de version, etc… but
I have no track to solve the problem.

At this moment I don’t know if this problem is with learnpress or only with PMP. So maybe, an other user of PMP has the same problem and could he help me ?…

Not at all @lamedufaitmain, we try to help all user’s we can within our support scope (Core functionality that Paid Memberships Pro provides).

As mentioned the core version doesn’t integrate with LearnPress at all, and thought that LearnPress would be able to help you with their integration.

I will try get a copy of the LearnPress integration to have a look at it and run some tests if I can.

To confirm the steps taken here, users exist for level 1 and then you create a course for level 1 and user’s cannot access it at all unless they purchase after the course has been created?

    Thank you for your attention.

Yes, I confirm : users exist for level 1 and then you create a course for level 1 and user’s cannot access it at all unless they purchase after the course has been created.

You are welcome, I have reached out to ThimPress to gain access to their plugin so I can run some tests.

As previously mentioned our support usually doesn’t go to this extent, as it falls outside of our support scope and I’d like to get a better understanding of how their integration works and if I can replicate it or not and advise you with a path forward.(Who to contact or if it’s a Paid Memberships Pro issue)

Does this issue also occur for ‘normal’ WordPress posts?

For example, create a new test post and require level 1 and are pre-existing member’s able to view this content? If so, the issue isn’t with Paid Memberships Pro as we support Posts, Pages and Post Categories by default.

    (@lamedufaitmain)

Indeed I had not a post in my wesite.
So I created 3 posts : one free, one with acces level 1 free and one with access level 2 paying. There is not probleme to acces to this posts with my user testing.
All buttom tout enroll or subscrire are displayed.

What do you recommend that I do ? Contact again with Learnpress / Thimpress ?

Thanks, this sounds like an issue with the LearnPress Paid Memberships Pro integration which is built and maintained by ThimPress. I recommend reaching out to their support and clarify that it only happens to courses and not posts/pages.

    Thank you for understanding.

Indeed, I think with this test that the problem comes from the plugin Integration.
I will create a new ticket to the support Thimpress.

Thnak you for your help and your attention.

    hey iamedufaitmain

I am having the same problem. Did you find a solution? I would love some help. Thimpress is being useless and say there is no problem. Any advice?

    Hi @rowea345 !

I think that this problem cames from the plugin LearnPress – Paid Membership Pro Integration.
With the big update of WordPress 5.7 and alls plugins (Learnpress and PMP), the problem resolved. I take off the plugin no essential and I emptied the cache and some minutes after it was ok.

It is possible there were an incompatibility between plugins and that iterfered with LearnPress – Paid Membership Pro Integration.

The support of Thimpress didn’t help me no more…

Hi guys, did you find anything new?

I have the latest version of WordPress v5.7, Learnpress v3.2.8.8, LearnPress – Paid Membership Pro Integration v3.1.17 and Paid Memberships Pro v2.5.7 and im getting the same error

Is there anything I can do?

    Thanks!

Hi guys, I solved my problem, I entered in Membership > Settings > Levels and clicked on each level that I had the problem with and saved them without changing anything.

I think the problem is that I was adding the new courses to the membership levels inside the Course Memberships tab within the Edit Course page and the course was not being added correctly to the level, even though when I went into a level’s edit page I was seeing the course in the Course settings section

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @ddevuono !

You can try to delete the courses in levels PMP and save. Adn after You empty the cache and add the courses from each level PMP. you have to wait a few minutes to verify access to the course.
I saw that sometimes it works…
I have other problem (with Learnpress courses reveiw) and I see that maybe it is from with plugin for security (ITheme security).
So you can disable your plugins one per one to see the different.

    Good luck !

Hi @ddevuono, I had the same problem with my new courses not being available to existing members. Today, I tried what you suggested (I entered in Membership > Settings > Levels and clicked on each level that I had the problem with and saved them without changing anything) and now my members have access to the new courses. So either it was because the Thimpress people fixed the bug in their integration or because of your simple solution. Who knows but thank you for posting your solution!
