    I know its to soon, when I activate the rename login page feature login produces:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare retrieve_password() (previously declared in /home/www/proto/wp-includes/user.php:2671) in /home/www/proto/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/other-includes/wp-security-rename-login-feature.php on line 359

    Deleting the function retrieve_password() in wp-security-rename-login-feature.php resolves the problem.

  • Seeing this as well, hoping it’ll be fixed quickly… we manage hundreds of websites, many of them with this plugin. Surprised it wasn’t fixed before 5.7 released.

    Same problem here:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare retrieve_password() (previously declared in /home/(…)/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/other-includes/wp-security-rename-login-feature.php on line 359

    Help please!
    Thank you!

    Same error after upgrading to 5.7.

    Ditto, same error after upgrading to 5.7. I had to rename the plugin folder via FTP to access WP admin.

    Same problem after 5.7 update. I followed the steps here to deactivate the plugin and now I can get into the admin dashboard:

    I have the same problem. I deactivated the rename login page option. Waiting for a solution.

    Following. Had not gotten down to the specific error yet, but a site that’s using the rename login has presented the standard WP “Critical Error” message when I tried to access the renamed login page after the site was auto-upgraded to 5.7 – currently checking all other sites I manage to turn off core updates or temporarily disable the renamed login page feature.

    Thank you all for reporting this. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further this issue.

    Kind regards

    @mbrsolution Thank you! I was logged in so I was able to deactivate the plugin. Do I have to do something else to complete unistall it or that is enough.
    Aldo I tried your plugin to reset the All in One plugin but I do not know if it worked.
    I deactivated both, because when I activated the All in One, I had the same problem to login.

    Thank you!

    @pablolarah,

    Do I have to do something else to complete unistall it or that is enough.

    That is all you have to do. Although as far as I can tell from the reports here, the only feature that is causing an issue with WordPress 5.7 is the Rename Login Page under Brute Force tab. So if you want to still use the plugin, make sure you disable the above mentioned feature.

    Kind regards

    @mbrsolution Thank you, Manuel!

    I thought that only I had this problem and now I see that there are a lot of people.

    Well I love this plugin, I returned the backup of my website to version 5.6.1 of wordpress and everything went back to working well.

    I will wait for the plugin to be updated correcting this error so I can update to Worpdpress 5.7

    I hope the plugin is updated quickly.

    (temporary)
    SOLUTION:
    disable the rename of the admin login page feature (under brute force)
