    Hi there

    There seems to be an issue when searching for product by SKU code – using woocommerce search products, product with relevant SKU code we are searching for will only display if the product is published (whereas it should display if either published or in draft status).

    We have thousands of products that we bulk imported (currently in draft status) and really need to have the ability to search by SKU code.

    Also an issue with the Filter by category – only showing products that are assigned to a product category that was manually setup, ie – not showing available categories for new categories that were brought in with the products bulk import.

    Your assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @designtwo2,

    As per our understanding, you are having issue with searching the products that are having draft status using SKU. We have tested the same on our test site and were able to successfully search and find products that are imported using SKU. Please try creating a product manually and check if the same issue occurs or not.

    Regarding the category, please try switching the active theme on your site and check if the issue is resolved or not. If the issue persists please share your importing file via support so that we can check it.

    Correct re the SKU issue.

    Have tested on product created manually and that is fine – able to search by SKU.

    Have tested on product that has been bulk imported, straight into draft status – not able to search by SKU.

    Have tested on product that has been bulk imported, straight into draft status then manually changed to published and changed back to draft status – able to search by SKU.

    Have deactivated all plugins / switched themes and there are no conflicts happening.
