    Yes, you just need create few gallery items, in gallery list and select one root gallery.

    Open categories manager inside one of the gallery and there using drag and drop editor sort gallery items to make them looks like sub gallery (child gallery for the root item) items in the list.

    Save categories list, make sure that you have enabled gallery menu.

    Open direct link to the post with root gallery and you’ll see filters on top of the gallery thumbnails.

    If you mean the menu option shown here https://youtu.be/m9XIeqMnhYI at 1:27,
    then all menu options are not shown and require the pro version, I can’t see any other menu options.

    Sorry, for my mistake. Your right, current gallery version don’t have menu in free version.
