• Hi there, I had a scheduled post go live this morning. I received the email (like a subscriber would) at the correct time with the scheduled post, and the post shows up on my own browser, both Safari and Chrome. The permalink directs you to the correct page. However, the new post does not show up on mobile devices, nor does it show up on some other people’s browsers (I’ve had my husband and a few friends check my blog) when viewing my blog from my main website title (emilymidgett.com). I’m part of a blog hop today, and it’s a bit worrying that some people can’t see the correct blog post.

    I’ve updated everything that needs to be updated, changed the date on the post itself, unpublished and republished the post, checked the visibility settings… I’m not sure what else to do.

    Any suggestions?

    I’d like to help get you pointed in the right direction to get this issue sorted, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my laptop. Would you mind to provide a bit more information on the issue though? I’m having trouble fully understanding what’s happening. Is the issue happening when users visit your site? Can they not see the post once they get to your site? If that’s the case it sounds like it might be a theme issue. The best way to test this would be to make a site backup, this can usually be done on your host’s site or through a plugin. Then switch to a default WordPress theme and see if the issue is still happening. If it is, I would say to try deactivating plugins one by one until you find the culprit.

    Hi Kenny,
    I’m sorry that I didn’t provide enough information to start with; I’m not entirely sure about the technological terminology. Basically, some people can see my new blog post and some can’t, with no rhyme or reason to which platform it does actually work on. My husband’s browser doesn’t work, but my browser and my friend’s does. Nobody can see it on a mobile device. The permalink works fine, but going straight to my home page does not show any new posts. There is supposed to be a project at the top with a card featuring yellow roses. Does that help at all?
