Largest Contentful Paint error

I think the full viewport video is preventing Lighthouse from determining its LCP score. Try temporarily replacing it with a static image to get an error free report. You can then replace the video afterwards. Of course the scores will be skewed without the video, but the recommendations for improvement are still valid.

FYI, page speed insights and the chrome tool are both based on the same analysis engine. Different ways to access the same tool.

When I added the static image then no error show on the LCP. But I need to add the video and when I add the video the error show again.

I don’t understand how to fix the issue. Can you please me.

I’m speculating mind you. I think the tool is timing out on the large video file, hence the error. You’d need a smaller video file that loads faster, or move it “below the fold”. Easier said than done I know, or simply unacceptable. The purpose of the Lighthouse tool is to help you optimize the speed of your page. Use its non-video findings to do so. To keep the video in its current form you have to accept that it’ll cause a Lighthouse error.

Asking mobiles to load a huge video file is contrary to Google’s mobile first concept that they’re pushing. It’s a cool graphic, I understand why you want it, but TBH it doesn’t help visitors find the information they’re looking for, which should be your primary focus. It’s essentially a splash screen, which is considered passé in some web design circles.
