    Hi there
I am using Himalaya for the first time, and I am really enjoying it. very solid theme and easy to use. I am still using the free, so of course there’s stuff that is probably considered Pro version only.

However, I would like to know why (and how) images are shown in blogs and not in portfolio, team and more.

Hpw do I show the selected image on my Portfolio pages?

    Thanks
    Claus

  • Hi @gulklud,

    We appreciate your writing in,

You can change the blog and portfolio images from your WordPress Dashboard. For changing the blog images, navigate to your WordPress Dashboard > Posts. Once you open Posts you’ll see blog posts. Click on the post of which you want to change the image. Check this screenshot.https://prnt.sc/10fy2tv

Similarly for changing the images of the portfolio navigate to WP Dashboard and then Pages. Select the page of which you want to change the image. Now you can replace the images as soon in the screenshot.https://prnt.sc/10fy7nz

Please let us know for any issues in the future.

    Hi Barsha
Thanks for your reply. Not quite, what I meant.
I am aware how you change images, my real question is this:

On a blog post the selected image is shown at the top of the blog.
On Portfolio and team the image is not shown.
How do I change this, so on ie. a team member page the image of John Doe is shown and not just text.

    Thanks
    Claus

    Hi @gulklud,

    We appreciate your writing in,

By default, our theme does not support the direct customization options to show the images and portfolio page. However, you can achieve your desire result by uploading the images manually from the portfolio pages. For this navigate to WP dashboard > Pages > All Pages. It displays the list of pages of your site. Select the page on which you want to add the images. Once directed to the page, below the content, you’ll see a + sign. Click on it and select the image block as shown in the screenshot.https://prnt.sc/10gsyt1.
Now you can upload the image of your choice and then once the image is uploaded click on publish button. Now you’ll get the respective images on the portfolio page. You can follow the same method for displaying team member images.

Let us know whether it helps or not and we will get back to you.

    With Regards,
    ThemeGrill Support Team.
