    I went to restore my plugins today from yesterdays backup (which goes to dropbox as well) and it gave me errors and completely wiped my whole site to the bare bones

    I figured it was okay could just restore from backup from yesterday – did not work. kept giving me errors

    so i went to manually download the zip files from drop box. I have noticed for the last month the files saved in drop box do not contain dp.gz. the last time it saved that was the start of Feb.

    I tried manually adding the zip from dropbox anyway from yesterday still wouldn’t work

    im freaking out. this site was meant to be launched this week. The brunt of it was done over the last 4 weeks

    I looked at the latest log file from my backup on the 4th/5th and in place of saving the database it says:
    This file is not ours to upload and has been/will be handled by another job

    please tell me it is saved somewhere? I tried to download the database off the plugin on wordpress too and it just gives me errors.

    Also getting this error when I try to upload manually with the zip files
    Upload error: Backup directory (/home/transmitter/public_html/wp-content/updraft) is not writable, or does not exist. You will find more information about this in the Settings section.

    Hi,

    Please can you check in the “wp-content/updraft” folder if you can find a copy of the backups?

    Yes it was in there!

    we managed to upload it via Cpanel.

    How can I make sure it gets saved onto my database too? It was doing it up until a month ago

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

    Please could you send us a copy of the full backup log?
    This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.
