This is the error I’m seeing on the widget:
-32300: transport error – HTTP status code was not 200

Emails are not being sent out and new subscribers cannot sign up using the widget on the website.

I’ve gone through all the suggested troubleshooting steps with no success or extra information. The documentation lists this error as being a server-side error, but my hosting company has come back to me saying they can’t see anything so I’m at a bit of a loss with what else to try.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi @catherinejc

Everything looks good from this end. At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening.

Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

    Thanks!

Hi, I am getting exactly the same problem. Is there a fix?

    Hi @alondoninheritance

It looks like your site is out of sync with Jetpack, I see a full sync is running now, let’s allow that to run and see if the issue resolves.

If it doesn’t, can you make sure your site is running the latest versions of WordPress and Jetpack?

    Bruce,

Thanks for the response. I did try the sync options in the Site Health screen several times, but this did not work.

Finally found the full sync option at WordPress.com so have tried running this.

I have the latest versions of WordPress and jetpack.

Hopefully a full sync will fix the issue

I’m having this exact same error on a number of websites.

    Just 2 as an example:

    Hi @bruceallen,
I did use the contact form as requested on Saturday, but haven’t received any further information. The site in question does not have a premium jetpack subscription, but if that’s what it takes to get this investigated further than I can set that up.
    Thank you!

    Hi @catherinejc,

Thanks for the followup. I found your ticket, and one of my colleagues will be reaching out to you about this as soon as possible. No need to get a paid subscription to a Jetpack plan. ??

Since we’ll be continuing with support there, I’m going to mark this thread as resolved.
