Custom Post Types do not show in main WP search with Polylang active

Hi, this is a problem that happens too often and is yet unsolved:

Would be great and we would be thankful if you could find a way to solve it (the stackexchange gives a reason why it happens I think).

Edit: To be clear: This happens even when the CPT is set to untranslated.
