Is there a way or system to migrate only website changes made on a localhost server to the production server? I’m not talking about migrating the whole website or backing up the whole website. Just changes, additions, and deletions made on the localhost server pushed to the production server. Thank you.

  • If you mean files, there’s many source control systems around. Look at something like Github if you’re starting off.

If you mean database changes instead/to… then sorry but no. There’s no good system that will do that yet. It’s pretty much the “holy grail” that no one has figured out how to do properly yet. The closest is VersionPress, but that’s been noted as a “Devloper Preview” for many year now, so that is nowhere near ready to use for production sites.

That is kind of what I thought after spending the evening last night looking around and not finding any solutions. I’ll look into GitHub. I appreciate your help.
