Title on the static page

  • Dear all, I got a question of the Miyazaki Theme. First of all, great theme and design!

    Key design feature is the fact the title of the webpage is hugely laying over the first blog posts.

    I wanted to change my homepage/frontpage from the ‘blog page’ to a ‘static page’. But when having the ‘static page’, the big title over laying the top part is gone.

    Any advice how to get this ‘big title’ back?

    Hi @schepersbosman,

    Glad you like it!

    This is unfortunately not possible out of the box. You’d have to create a child theme and modify the conditionals in header.php that define when the big title is output, and you’d also have to make some style changes to singular pages to make the title work with the rest of the elements on those pages.
