VERY Happy with HappyForms!
-
Yeah, there are a million WP form plugins. And when you want “extra” functionality you have to pay.
So for me, “which one” comes down to two things:
1) the SIZE of the plugin, with the corresponding site slowdowns, and
2) the quality of the SUPPORT.HappyForms checks both boxes: 1) it’s megabytes smaller than that warrior-themed competitor who makes it almost impossible to do something as simple as change the color of the submit button unless you pay (I mean, really?!), and 2) HappyForms’ support is freaking AWESOME.
Anytime I’ve asked for a feature, they typically either say it’s already in the works or here’s why we’re not doing that feature …but here’s a bit of code for your functions.php file that gives you that feature right now. Seriously, who does that?!
Well, they do. So few of these companies work WITH you, but you know what it gets them? Customers for LIFE — and anytime I find a little bug or goofiness (which exist in every bit of software), I tell them about it so they can fix it. I never did that with NF, because of my poor experiences with their support people. HF’s response is always gracious and appreciative …and they provide a snippet of code or CSS to fix the problem while they work on the next release.
So you can understand why I was, well, Happy to pay for HappyForms unlimited because I have, host, and maintain a lot of sites, including for a few non-profits, so they don’t have to install a bloated package to get what they need. AND I got to say goodbye forever to NF.
5 stars isn’t enough.
