Thanks for getting back, I do not mind paying for something where I see the value, but in your case, I do not have enough functionality to understand if that is the right gallery for me and I ready to invest more into it. I am a [link removed; please do not use links in reviews] software developer myself and understand that you have to sell the product to stay afloat, but you either have to provide some kind of trial version with all functionality available to try, so your users would understand the value, or provide more free functionality, so users at leas do not uninstall that plugin after using it for 30 minutes.
For example, I end up using [competing product name redacted], it has all the free basic functionality I need. I already created a couple of dozens of albums, so for me, it makes sense to pay for the Premium version if I need more functionality or facing some limitations, I used the product long enough to understand the benefits and switching from it would require a time investment, which is greater than the price for a Premium version.
Maybe you can create a plugin with all the functionality, just limit the number of galleries users can create, that would definitely allow users to get a taste of the product, but once they face the limitation, they can purchase an upgrade.
Thanks,
Alex.
