Synonyms and plural search

    Hello there.
    I’m trying to have plural search but i’m not beeing able to achieve it.
    My default operator is OR and i’ve tried some functions i’ve seen on your site but no luck.
    Regarding the synonyms it’s also not working, i add for example lego = legos , i index everything again and if i search legos it doesnt show any product.

    The synonym goes the other way around:

    legos=lego

    Now when someone searches for “legos”, that gets changed to “lego” and should find results.

    The best solution for this is to use a stemmer, but that requires Relevanssi Premium.

    Hello Mikko.
    Many thanks for your reply. I don’t mind paying for Relevanssi Premium. Will it work for portuguese words by addings the s to the final?

    Our add-on Snowball Stemmer plugin has full support for Portuguese, so it’ll handle more than the plurals, it’ll remove many other suffixes. The stemming algorithm is explained here.
