Redirecting CNAME to www

    I have taken the plunge in switching from Blogger to WordPress hosted on my own site. I already own my own domain and have been using CNAME to direct to my various blogs.
    I now want to redirect these to the imported posts on WordPress:
    e.g. mars.mydomain.com/permalink –> https://www.mydomain.com/wordpress/permalink
    and news.mydomain.com/permalink –> https://www.mydomain.com/wordpress/permalink

    I woud be grateful to know the best way to achieve this. Matching the permalinks seems straightforward but I am uncertain about the CNAME change.
