    Hi,

    I got an issue from my client where they suddenly got a new order email notification even though they didn’t place any order. The email used to be tested with the site before and we have cleared the order list from Woocommerce > Orders tab. Do you know why this happen and how to fix it?

    That’s strange. Could you please check if you have set up the correct emails at WP-Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Emails? Afterward, could you check with your client to issue if this issue still happening?

    Hi @gabrielfuentes, thanks for your reply.

    I have check the Woocommerce > Emails setup and yes the emails are correct. Actually this problem is not new, it occur since the start of our development but we have no idea why it keeps happening.

    Hi @amarmustaqim. Sorry that we missed your last response. Do you still need help with this?

    If so, can you please clarify? Did your client receive the New Order email or the Customer Invoice email? And if I understand correctly, there are no orders in WooCommerce that match the notification, is that right?

    If that’s the case, the first thing is to have your client ensure that there aren’t any old sites or staging sites that may still be receiving orders. Also, are they receiving any payments for these orders and if so, with what payment gateway?

    Please share the system status report of the with me. You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it in your reply.

    Hi there, thanks for your reply. Luckily, I have sort out this problem and it’s actually because of login credential issue. My client’s colleague use his login credential without telling him, and do some testing in the website. I’m sorry for any inconvenience.
