the raw data of hits and pageviews on my web server indicate 15-40 times the number of pageviews than the Site Stats in my WordPress install at my website.

and while i hit specific posts a few times in a week, there’s no way those blocked in Site Stats explains the massive difference.

each time i post something new at the start of the month it’s easy to track for each of the first few days the pageviews of the specific blog page as well as the homepage and compare them with Site Stats.

Site Stats registers a small fraction of the traffic really going out from my server.

    any thoughts?

    thanks!
