• How do I edit the text on the black bar that references Alice in Wonderland, or else delete it altogether. It is on a post and I’ve looked all over for it.

Are you using a plugin for this black bar that references Alice in Wonderland? Yes? What’s the full name of this plugin? Where did you acquire it?

Or, is this outputted by your current theme? Yes? What’s the full name of this theme? Where did you acquire it?

    Hi t-p,

The theme is Amiable and I acquired it through Mojo Marketplace. It did not come with a pull quote plugin, so I suspect it is a scrap of CSS coding. I know very little about changing CSS (except that you can ruin your theme if it is not done right.) I can live with the black bar if I can change the text, but I cannot find the text (“Lewis Carroll – Alice in Wonderland”)

Since you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations: https://www.mojomarketplace.com/item/amiable-a-wordpress-blogging-theme

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product. Commercial products are not supported in these forums.
