Posting Via Email in 2.9

  • Very surprised this forum does not support “search” within. My question is what else do I need to do to get the 2.91 posting via email to work? I have the correct server according to my hosting, my login and password are also correct. Guessing I have this “correct” why am I not getting my emails from my email account to post directly to my WordPress or where are the emails at that are waiting for me to edit? I have hit “posts” and nothing is there waiting to be edited/posted except posts I have actually made from scratch within WordPress

    Yes I did read that article, but for whatever reason the emails are not getting from my godaddy email account to my wordpress account hosted by godaddy. Any suggestions? I have contacted Godaddy and the people I’ve spoken to do not have wordpress knowledge. And WordPress won’t answer any questions if you don’t host with them.

    So here is a more specific question – if anyone else has gotten the post via email to work with hosting services via godaddy including email, please let me know exactly what to put in the mail server section. I have tried outgoing – smtpout.secureserver.net and incoming – pop.secureserver.net. neither of these are putting the emails being received through my godaddy email account to my Godaddy wordpress blog. Which means there is something not right with the mail server box because I am very certain of the email address and password of my email.
