    Hello everybody,

I’m pretty new here and honestly had never dealt with WordPress before. I’m actually trying to find a way to solve a problem that, according to some friends of mine, should be easy with WordPress.

I basically want to add a page to a website where my client can change the content of that page easily. They will have an “Activities” page on their website and they need to be able to update that frequently.

So I was wondering if it’s possible to “create this page” in WordPress in a way that it will only show the latest entry of the entries? In other words, that shows only the latest update that they did? Is that something that is possible and easy to do with WordPress? If not, anybody has a better way to do it?

    Thanks in advance!

You can specify the number of posts to display on the homepage in wordpress settings.

It’s under settings, general or reading.

It has a number for posts to display in a feed, and also a number for posts to display on the homepage.

The latest post will always display top by default. But you will need to change the number of posts that display on the homepage.

If you want to display an intro to the post and then have a read more… tag, then that is done in the the post editor. There is a box with a little line on it —-.

Or you could just create it as a page and then your client could keep changing that. It depends on whether they want the older versions to be searchable or not.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks!

I guess what I want is actually the second one, to create it as a page and then my client just keeps changing that.

    Thanks once again!
