• Hi, I want to remove the slider on my home page and replace it with an image which is 1600 pixels width by 535 pixels height. I’ve got my image and I have used the flash call to action widget to place it in the page. But when I do this it is cropping the image to about only 250 pixels in height and not quite to the full width of the page. I want it to show in full so the user sees the full image when they come to my site and the associated text/button, and I want it to appear directly underneath the menu. How do I do this please?

    Note..i password protected the linked page so that search engines can’t find it while I work on it. Password is ‘testpage’.

    Thanks

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @onlinemo,

    You can use FT: Image for replacing FT: Slider. You can use an image as well as you can add an image link, to it will redirect to the specific page. Hope this helps to fix your issue.

    Thanks Premi, the thing is I’d really like the button over the top of the image – is there not any way to do it via a call to action? I saw on some of the demo sites that the call to action seemed to be bigger than it is appearing for me?

    Hi @onlinemo,

    in the demo, the dimension of image used on row background is 1920*1300.

    for your image, make sure that you use the image as backgroud in the row, not in the widget (use Edit Row + Design / backgroud image in right panel) not (edit in the widget that is before duplicate delete).
    play with padding in: Edit Row + Layout / Padding in right panel (put padding top: 200, padding bottom: 200 for example)
    make sure to have Row Layout: full width
    Best regards,

    @piccollino thanks, putting it at full width and setting the background image as the row helped. Changing the padding didn’t seem to be change anything but not sure why. My homepage looks a lot better now though I do have a little white gap between the menu and the image..not sure if you know how to get rid of that? Either way am a lot happier with it.

    Hi @onlinemo,
    try to add this class in your customize/Additional CSS:

    #pg-642-0
    {
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    }

    Thanks @piccollino, tried that but didn’t have any success this time.

    @premi0 thanks – I did leave a message on the live chat yesterday but am not having much luck getting a response on there recently. Would you be able to flag up to the team that I have asked a question on there please?
