More Templates,Recipe Keys, Badges and Design Options

    Hello Sir,
    I want to make a few suggestions or Feature Requests. Please forgive me if some of my language looks too straight. The straight language is not intentional, but I felt it’s the only way I can really make you know that I’m really serious about what I’m telling you, and would not take NO for an answer(LOL).

    1.) TOO BLANK AND TOO SIMPLE
    Cooked plugin is too blank and too simple. You need to add some styles and fancy to it. There are many things that you can do to make it more alive. I therefore ask that you consider the following Feature Requests:

    Look at the sidebar, you will see the Recipe Keys and Recipe Categories. Doesn’t it look beautiful and informational to you?

    I don’t know how you are going to do it, but you must add this Feature to Cooked Plugin as well.

    The feature is a very useful and beautiful and nice and creative feature, and I humbly ask that Cooked plugin should also provide us this feature.

    3.) MULTIPLE TEMPLATE DESIGNS
    Install WP Recipe Maker(the Free version), and you’d see that they have more than just one style of Template.

    You are fixed to just one Template Design and that’s a lack of imagination and a lack of extensive creativity.

    Please, start working on creating Multiple Template Designs for Cooked plugin.

    4.) ABILITY TO STYLE EACH TEMPLATE PART
    You did a beautiful work in making sure that your template parts are movable through shortcodes. So I can place the different parts of the Template on a Page/Post in whatever order I want them.

    Let me not lie– that’s an amazing power that you gave us. The one thing missing is that we are still locked to your colours and design for those Template parts.

    I’d like to be able to change the icon of my timer, change it’s colour etc. I’d like to do the same for Print, Directions and every other metadata icon of the plugin.

    This means that you need to create a functionality in Cooked to enable us have an icon package in cooked– that can make us change icons, icon colours, have Category Colours and other such features.

    5.) CATEGORY BADGES— If you go here — (https://www.chelseasmessyapron.com) and scroll down to her “New Recipes” section. You will see Recipe Badges that function like the Recipe Keys.

    We want something like that in Cooked as well.

    Cooked is purposely very simple with the idea that out of the box it will work for most people. If you want to do heavy customizations you can do that with plugins like Elementor, etc.

    But I do see the need for features like badges/keys, customizing icons/colors, etc. — so thanks for the feedback!

    If you do this, it will make me very happy.

    2.) Perhaps you could explain better, what you mean by saying that I can do heavy customizations using Elementor?

    I mean to ask that–to what extent of customizations would I be able to do on Cooked using Elementor?

    3.) Irrespective of where I place the Nutrition Facts, it always seem to take 33 or 40%(Thirty three or Forty percent) of the Page size on desktop.

    It never fills the section with a 100% width size. Can you make the Nutrition Facts Label Responsive in such a way that we can have Small(33%), Medium(50%) and Large(100%) ?
