New categories are not showing up

  • new categories that i create are not showing up on my website. it does this no matter which theme i put it on. i do not have any widgets installed. for some reason, after the first few categories, new ones would not show up. i have even deleted the old categories i had up and tried to create new ones. those will not show up either. help please

    it doesn’t matter if i do or not, they still do not show up.

    Well, any categories without posts in won’t show up, so it kinda does matter. Otherwise if you’ve tried populating them with posts, disable all your plugins and switch to the default theme again. What’s the site URL?

    oh, duh. yes, that was it. i created the categories, but did not assign posts to them so they weren’t showing up. thanks.

    Hello! I am having problems with tags and categories. just 2 or 3 of them work fine, the rest of them when i click on any, it sends me to a different one, either category or tag, or it shows the home page, plus the tags in english are not showing, only the ones in spanish (my site is bilingual). does anybody have an idea of why this is happening. help please ?? . i have wpmu 2.9.2 and buddypress 1.2.1 installed.

    in case somebody wants to take a look at it, to see what i’m talking about. can somebody tell me how to fix this? thanks in advance.

    I forgot to say that i had wpmu 2.9.1, I just upgraded to wpmu 2.9.2 but nothing changed, I am still having the same problem.
