Email in Spam or not sent (Sendinblue)
-
Hi there !
Try to summarize this :
I was before facing issues with WC as completed were not sent to customers so I decide to give up the php fonction wp_mail() and go with a proper SMTP option aka the combo WP Mail SMTP 2.6.0 / Sendinblue.
ISSUE:
1. Emails from my WP Website are going systematically into Spam (hello@ for WPCF7 / shop@ for WC / webmaster@ for WP.
2. Completed Order Email from WooCommerce are not being sent at all to customers (no log into WP Mail Logging Log) but Order Confirmation are received by customers in Inbox normally.
All my plug-in are updated to the last version except WC is 4.9.1 not the 5.0.0 (enhancement/tweak and fix seems having no role atm) running with PHP 7.3.27
I carefully follow each and every step for setting up properly WP Mail SMTP / Sendinblue:
1. Subdomain created on my DNS provider (not gmail etc…email, proper domainname) and authenticated by sendinblue with DKIM / TXT / SPF but not _dmarc yet.
2. v.3 API from Sendinblue inside WP Mail SMTP Plug-in,
3. Mailer as Sendinblue chosen
4. From Email / From Name properly entered but not forced as I have then misconfiguration happening with WPCF7
5. In WP Mail SMTP Plug-in sending domain is set up on my new subdomain created and authenticated by Sendinblue
6. Test Email is working and not going into spam except for Emails registered in Sendinblue as “Senders” für shop@ / hello@ / webmaster@ only.
7. Email is recognized as sent by sendinblue (showing in Email Header)
WC settings Emails are all activated with the correct Email Adresse entered here shop@.
Am I missing something else here? Anything I have to do maybe related to the SMTP settings from Sendinblue… I really don’t know.
I previously try to find any help on the forum but did not find anything so far.
Thanks for your help in advance and have a nice day ??
