I am working for this company trying to get the payment request buttons to show up when checking out with Stripe. I have enabled the payment request buttons in Stripe settings. I am not sure if Apple pay has been set up on someone else’s end, but I cannot get google pay to show up for me in chrome. I looked at several other people’s forums and the page’s console, but I need help getting these to work. Any advice is appreciated.

Also, I have checked our SSL certification and it seems to be working. The only other thing I can think of is we might need to update our Woocommerce or SSL to get the features to work.

Thanks in advance for the support,

    Matt

  • Hello @pattmeters ,

I understand this can be an annoying issue.

As you have confirmed that the Payment request button is enabled already I can think of other steps that need to verify –

    1. Updating WooCommerce to the latest version will definitely help to reduce problems (in case there are any).
    2. Make sure you are using our Stripe plugin not the others.
    3. Make sure you are trying from a supported country for Google pay and Apple pay.
    4. Silly, but confirm that payment method added to your Google account in Chrome.
    5. Have you tried while having only WooCommerce and Stripe enabled? Can you please run through these tests and let me know how it goes?

    > Switch to a default theme i.e. Twenty Twenty / Storefront
    > Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, Stripe and then activate them one by one to figure out the faulty one.

Test your feature after each activation/deactivation. More details on the conflict test here.

    Thank you ??

    Hi Rashed,

We have updated Woocommerce and tried all of the conflict testing and I am still not getting these to show up. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi @pattmeters. Please turn on debug logging in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe and try to make a purchase on your store. Then check if there is a Stripe debug log in WooCommerce > Status > Logs to share with us.

If there is a log, instead of pasting it directly here, first paste it to Pastebin or Gist. Then return to this thread and paste the link to that file here.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
