I’m using Lifterlms for a project, i’m really impressed by this plugin now. I see few drawbacks though, when user enters wrong ’email’ or ‘password’ there is no error message shown on the page typically on websites error message like ‘you have entered wrong email or password’ is displayed during such occasion. This is not the single instances there are other instances like for example if we submit for ‘lost password’ option it doesn’t show any message that “an email has been sent click on the link sent to reset password…”.

Is there are any option to display such messages based on actions taken by user ?

Glad to know you enjoy using LifterLMS for your project. Can you clarify what a wrong email or password means? How is WordPress going to know if someone enters the wrong email? We don’t have a way to verify emails to know if they’ve been entered correctly or not. As for the password, we do have a password strength meter that helps check the password strength. Depending on the option you set, your users may not be able to register if they don’t set the minimum. You can find out more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roIf1v62biw

This might be an issue with your setup. Could you temporarily deactivate all plugins except LifterLMS and see if the issue still exists? Here is what I get on mine when I tried: https://prnt.sc/zq61s8

    Thank you ??

Thank you for your prompt response. I followed your advice and it looks like you are right:

I deactivated all plugins and then checked the ‘forgot password’ feature and then other message that tells user ‘their password has been updated’it all worked fine.

However after i activated Elementor and Elementor Pro plugins and re-checked the submission messages after reset password and password updating. They disappeared again, it looks like using elementor and elementor pro is causing this problem, is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks

This means there may be a setting that’s causing this with Elementor.

This may be something you have to reach out to Elementor about or reset to the default settings. We have no issues with Elementor here at LifterLMS.

    Thank you ??

Thanks again for your prompt response. I was able to solve this problem, you were right it was about elementor pro settings, I had assigned single page template of elementor pro for dashboard page, now i excluded the dashboard page from single page template. its working fine now.

    Thanks again.
