Visual disabled (Classic) or Block error (Gutenberg)

  • Hi, thank you for this amazing plugin.

    Unfortunately, I got stuck whether I choose Classic or Gutenberg editor (WP 5.6.1).

    The first step (Docx import) always looks fine: the Word document will be fully inserted. When I try to edit the post, I get two kinds of fatal issues.

    Classic editor enabled: Visual tab blocked (not clickable)
    Gutenberg enabled: “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.”

    Hmm, if you’re able to make the post successfully, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t then be able to edit it. Mammoth should just be producing fairly normal HTML.

    Do you get this with all documents, or just specific ones? For instance, if you upload a blank document or a document with one sentence in, do you get the same issue?

    Do you have any other plugins installed? If you disable other plugins and use the default theme, do you get the same issue?
