    Hi,
I’m having an issue when trying to enter game statistics on my test install. I’ve tried testing this with the demo content for both baseball and football(soccer).

The stats are auto-populated and listed on the SportsPress->Configure page but are not available when editing an event.

Each sport was tested on a fresh install with the Rookie theme

Are there additional steps required to have the fields appear when editing an event? I’d like to get this working with baseball as I’m looking at migrating an existing site to sportspress for my league.

    Thanks

    Hi there!

    Thanks for reaching out.

No additional steps are needed to see the event field. Just make sure you add at least your teams so you’ll see the options to add event results, players and so on.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I’m seeing this issue with the demo content which contains statistic since I can see them on the site.

With baseball selected as the sport, the “Box Score” section is shown when editing a Game (event). I can see the players listed in both the batting and pitching sections of the “Box Score” but only their number and status fields are available. Shouldn’t the fields for entering batting and pitching statics be listed in these section for each player as well?

    Hi there!

    Thanks for your reply.

Could you send us a screenshot of your SportsPress > Configure section and the event edit screen so we can check out what you see right now.

    Thanks!

    Hi there!

    Thanks for your reply.

That’s really odd. This should be enough to have these fields in your events.

Do you have any custom coding there? Any additional plugins? It looks like you are using the Rookie theme, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Nothing’s installed other than Sportspress, Sportspress for Baseball and the Rookie Theme. There isn’t any custom code in there either.

I’ve also tried reinstalling WordPress, the plugins and theme and I’m still seeing the same behaviour with the demo content

same thing is happening for me on my website

is there a fix for this mine just looks like the pic northrn frontier shared under event edit screen

if you do team vs team the stats show up for the total team stats but no input for the players under player vs player

ALSO CHECK PASSED EVENTS THAT STATS WERE INSERTED AND THEY WERE MISSING JUST SHOWING NAME AND IS THEY WERE A STARTER OR NOT JUST LIKE THE PICS POSTED ABOUT FROM NORTHERN

The issue seems to have been introduced in version 2.7.6 of Sportspress. After downgrading to version 2.7.5 I’m able to see the fields on the Event Edit page. Upgrading back to 2.7.6 caused the fields to disappear again.

WHO DO YOU DOWNGRADE A VERISON?

I INSTALLED 2.7.5 THAT DIDNT WORK AND THEN INSTALLED 2.7.4 STILL GAMES STATS ARE STILL MISSING EVEN FOR PRIOR GAMES ENTERED MONTHS AGO

    Hi @savvasha,

The patch seems to fix the issue. I can continue my migration testing with 2.7.5 for now but is there an ETA for the next release yet and will this patch be included?

    Thanks
