More & more spam

    Hi.

    I’m getting more and more spam by bots using contact form 2 email.
    The captcha does not do anything. The spam is by bots I guess because I got the settings that one needs to accept my data privacy statement regarding sending me mails. In the mails there is usually a line that says (at the end of the message I receive):

    “Accept terms and conditions of the privacy statement: I accept”

    when the mark is checked so the mail can get send.

    All the spam comes with a line that says for example:
    “Accept terms and conditions of the privacy statement: NY”
    “Accept terms and conditions of the privacy statement: BURGENLAND”
    “Accept terms and conditions of the privacy statement: BN”
    “Accept terms and conditions of the privacy statement: NA”
    “Accept terms and conditions of the privacy statement: VIC”

    So I guess the captcha has been hacked some time ago by various suckers and those bots just can spam as they do.

    I’ll maybe test some other contact form. As it is now I’m just getting more and more annoyed by those scumbags.

    Maybe CF2E dev(s) should consider rewriting some parts of the form.

    No link to my contact form page. I don’t use Contact Form Email anymore now. I don’t want to get more spam and switched to Ninja Forms.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the feedback. In the latest plugin update we added some new automatic anti-spam features (honeypot, smart scripts, etc…) that will help to stop spambots.
