Request: Change scope to date-select fields

I would propose to change the scope field, where you can select the dates of events you want to see, into a begin and end date field.

That way you can select which dates are important, removing the current (incomplete) list and complexity.

For me there are a few reasons for this request. The first is that it takes forever until I can select “all events”, because the way it is programmed now the default is “future events”, which does not help me at all.
Also I regularly need to look which event were scheduled on a certain date. Currently the only way is to search for all events (of past events) and then scroll through the events until I find the correct date.
