Relationship field and embedding other Pods

I have created two Pod post types, and am extending the base Post type, with Pods. I’d like to embed content from the two new Post types into the extended Post type, I assume using the relationship/bi-directional capability. I am not seeing any shortcodes etc. that I could attempt using.

Is there a way to embed an existing Pod into the extended Post type via a Pod relationship (or other) field type? Or is there a means via the oEmbed field type?

Generally speaking, is there a way to embed Pods in other Pods?
