    Hi There,
    Love your plugin, but ive always had issues with email notifications when it comes to granting access. I receive general email notifications etc fine. The issue I have is whenever a signup needs verification by admin or their own email needs verifying their side, but no email is received. if I put auto approve emails come through fine. Ive had this issue with 2 different sites, even after installing some kind of SMTP manager. I have tried it on gmail, outlook and a domain email for different accounts

    Have you tried switching the “Admin E-mail Address” with different emails and see if the issue goes away?

    Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Emails > See “Admin E-mail Address” at the bottom page.

    yes I have, that hasn’t resolved the issue of admin receiving signup verification. however, that site has been switched to auto access.

    The site I need assistance with is email verification for the site user (not admin). when they signup, they need to verify their email. However, the verification email isn’t coming through to the user.

    In addition to this I received a report from my CloudFlare acc last night with a 5xx server error caused by the login section. if you enter the wrong login information it throws up the error. as there’s no traffic to the site yet, this error “You’re 75% of the way to reaching your daily Cloudflare Worker limit of 100000 requests.If you do not take any action and exceed the daily limit, your end users will experience 5XX errors until the limit resets at 2021-02-09 at 00:00:00 UTC.” with just a couple of failed login credentials

    Sorry for the late response.

    Could you please try installing an Email logger plugin and see if the notifications are being sent for email verification?

    Have you tried turning on the Cloudflare option “Under Attack Mode”?

    thanks for the tip, I fully installed the plugin as requested. looking at the email log, it would appear that only 1 email is being sent upon registration. Emails are being sent to admin to notify new signup and not client for email approval.

    Are you still having issues? Could you please confirm that the Email Approval is turned on in WP Admin > Settings > Email?

    hi, still having the issue. I have had to deactivate the email but until we resolve this issue. how can we fix it please?

    Hi @simonbrooker2020

    Have you tried leaving UM plugin as the only active plugin and test the email? Let’s see if this is a conflict issue with other plugins.

    Hi Champ

    I uninstalled every plugin except UM and the email verification never came through. I deleted the user and I received an email notifying that the user is deleted. so the issue is only with verification emails to users

    As it turns out I am having the exact same issue. New registrations are not receiving an activation email.

    I have verified it is checked in the member role. The user is marked “waiting for activation”. No email is sent.

    I have tried it with all plugins stopped except ultimate member as well. No joy.

    Suggestions?

    @nightspook ive had UM installed on 2 sites now and had issues with either admin or email verification on both. Seems to be a bug. Just waiting for @champsupertramp to look into it now

    it is just opening a blank screen. Page settings set to:
    Restrict access: Yes
    Who can access: logged in users
    Which rolled can access: ticket all users
    What happened when users without access tries to view content: Redirect
    Where should users be directed to: login page
