    i have been using yoast for the past 3 days and i noticed when i click the highlight button nothing happens which has made editing my blogs to be hard

    Thanks for reaching out.

    By design, the eye marker feature is only available in the default Visual editor. If you’re using the WordPress native content editor, please make sure that you’re using the Visual mode instead of using the Text mode, to make sure that the Yoast SEO eye marker feature can highlight the specific parts of your content.

    In some cases, you may need to update the content or refresh the page to be able to activate the eye marker.

    Thanks for sharing the relevant screenshot with us. We can confirm that you’re using the Visual mode in the native Gutenberg content editor where the eye marker option should highlight the part of the content as expected.

    Can you please confirm what exact alert you’re seeing in Yoast SEO readability analysis that isn’t highlighting anything?

    In addition, can you please confirm whether you’re seeing any javascript errors in the browser console? How to find javascript errors in the browser console?

    keyphrase, word length but i’ve fixed my blog with another editor but the issue was that yoast was showing problems on my content but when clicking the eye icon nothing was being highlighted or displayed.

    i did refresh the page couple of times deactivated then activated the plugin but its not working so its kinda useless to use it because its not indicating where the problems are located
