Struggling to change footer text

    Hi, I have “installed” and “activated” the Astra theme and as far as I am aware all is well: it is showing as the “current theme” in my wp dashboard. However, when I visit my site page, where the effect of the theme IS apparent and scroll down, in the bottom right-hand corner it says “Powered by A Level Music Teacher” which is my site title.

    I have gone into the dashboard menu to customise the footer and typed in Astra WordPress Theme in the appropriate place next to “Powered by” and made sure that I have saved my changes. However, when I visit my site the wording still says “Powered by A level Music Teacher”.

    I have logged out of my WP account and logged back in, gone through the same process and still no joy!

    I am very new to all of this, but cannot see what I am doing wrong. Please can anyone help.

    PS. I also deleted, re-installed and activated the Astra theme again …..and the same thing.

  • Hi @macg64,

    I visited your site but it’s still in a “Maintenance Mode”. Please make sure that the Footer section of your site is not created using our Header Footer Elementor plugin. If it is, then you need to change it from there. Please refer to this screenshot.
