Customize save throws error “Looks like something’s gone wrong.”

  • Brand new WP installation with Astra theme.
    On changing the logo using customize button, I am seeing below error when I publish

    >>> Looks like something’s gone wrong. Wait a couple of seconds, and then try again.

    I have tried it multiple times, with no success. I am stuck.
    Such a basic operation is not working. First time customer, and highly disappointed with the WP quality.

  • The site logo is a WP option, but it is enabled by the theme. It is likely that your site has a configuration problem, because there are thousands of Astra users and millions of WP users, and not many complaining about this.
    If it works in another theme, it’s a theme issue.
    If it works on another site or host (with different server versions or file permissions), it’s a configuration issue.
