In wp-admin. My Simple Post Notes is 1.7.3, and I’m speaking about Pages only (not posts, which I don’t use). The column *can* be chosen to sort, and things reorganize when I do, but it doesn’t sort the way I expect. I think it is a secondary sort, seeming to reflect the Published date? Actually, I came up with that theory as I was writing out examples of what I see, and now it seems clear that it is sorting the exact same as Published date, not secondarily. A screen grab of the first dozen has the entiress (and therfore notes) in the same order, whether I’ve sorted by notes or date (with the little arrow point up, both when next to Notes, and when next to Date. Notes are not in alpha order, starting with G…, B…, A…, B…etc.
