Hi we are getting reports from customers that the site is giving 403 pages so they can not access. After reading support forum, I went into advanced settings and set the option “Use static keys for JS check.” to “On”
Hopefully this will help. Three customers now is past week or so.
If there is anything else I should know to do to prevent this please respond. Thank you.

    Hello, @sdkeeper.

I’ve just tested your website from different countries and I managed to visit it without any errors.

Please, make sure that you are using the latest version of the plugin. We have fixed all known issues of the Anti-Crawler option in the latest release 5.152.5.

If the plugin on your website is not the latest one, please, re-install the CleanTalk Anti-Spam Plugin with the “Complete Deactivation” option:
    ? WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Complete Deactivation” to “On” —> Save Changes;
? WordPress Admin Page —> Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Delete.

    Then install it anew:
    https://cleantalk.org/help/install-wordpress

It will solve the issue. Did it help?

Thank you. I do keep site updated and just went through a few Clean Talk plugin updates these past several days. Do I still need to reinstall the plugin vis complete deactivation option? The Firewall plugin? (We use both spam and firewall)
Thank you for checking the site from different countries. Appreciate it. Only thing is I set the plugin to not allow any other countries but USA & Canada so how did you do that? Thank you.

    Hello @sdkeeper

Please deactivate the Anti-Spam plugin with a complete deactivation option. The activate it again. This will recreate all the tables and settings.
The Security plugin can be updated as is.

@serge00 is not available now, so I can’t tell you what countries he used. We will answer you some later.

Hello; Thank you so much. Funny because Germany is a country I have blocked I thought. Anyway I had a customer who reported these errors take a drive through after I made the first changes above and was reported no problems now. I have another taking a drive through today.

I keep plugins updated faithfully so is the latest onsite, spam and firewall.
Should I go ahead a deactivate etc, I would have no way of knowing if it helped unless I got more reports from customers.

ALso since it is age not found errors, the antispam would/could be causing that as appose to the firewall plugin by CleanTalk?
In reference to the above, should I continue to deactivate, delete and reinstall or just leave it for now?

    Thank you very much.

Do it once. If it has been already done, just keep the plugin up-to-date.’

403 forbidden message is weird. We did get a report of this error before but a much long ago. It is fixed now.
