So I used this plugin 3 months back and it worked fine but now the website needs the certificate renewal and when I try to generate new SSL certificate it takes me verification page where I am using DNS challenge method. I have done everything right and when I click the Verify button it right away gives a pop up that says “Something went wrong! Please try again.”

I have already tried clearing the cache but that did not help.

My DNS is hosted with CloudFlare. Basically everything is same the way it was 3 months back.

    Please help.

@gr8leo87 Please try reloading the page and click verify button. If you are using PRO version, please open a ticket at gowebsmarty[dot]in

I have refreshed the page. I have cleared cache. But it’s not working.

I am using the free version that’s why I need to renew manually.

@gr8leo87 Please make sure Name Servers of your domain is pointing to Cloudflare, then check TXT record for _acme-challenge.YOURDOMAINHERE.com in dnschecker[dot]org

Make sure correct values are returning for the TXT records you have added in DNS. Also, new DNS records might take upto 24hrs to propagate worldwide so you might need to wait and try verify later.

I have done and rechecked everything. Everything is correct.

The problem is that it doesn’t even begin to verify. And just returns a pop up something went wrong RIGHT Away.

@gr8leo87 Please open the WP Encryption page url with wpleauto=dns parameter

    Ex: YOURDOMAIN.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp_encryption&wpleauto=dns

Domain verification should succeed & SSL should be generated if you have DNS records set correctly.

I have tried doing what you said. But nothing happens. I paste this link in the browser correctly replacing with my domain name and it comes back to the same page.

@gr8leo87 Login to your wp-admin first, then try opening below url 2-3 times.

    silverjewellery.pk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp_encryption&wpleauto=dns

@gr8leo87 Sorry but your host seems incompatible with our plugin.

But it worked perfectly fine 3 months back.

@gr8leo87 You can try updating plugin to latest version, run RESET option once and then re-try. Unfortunately we don’t have any other solution.
